Picn*x 20 Table Layout and Assignments
The Meadowlands Picnic Area at Sunnyvale Baylands Park is one of two large picnic areas at the park. It is divided into 5 "wedges" in a circle, each with a grill, a food preparation table and 9 picnic tables. Each grill has power outlets on one side and a water faucet on the other. This page shows the layout and a list of table plans and assignments.
If you've reserved or are considering reserving a table, see the
instructions for setting up your reserved table.
Picnic Area Diagrams
The following diagrams/maps show the per-wedge and overall picnic area layout. They were made using Open Source tools
Dia and
GIMP during the Linux Picnic planning meeting at the picnic area on July 7, 2010. See how well you can read the map - we were at Table 2H.

Table assignments
Tables which are not assigned or reserved are considered available for walk-up personal or group use.
All of the A tables in each wedge are food preparation tables with no seating. In wedge areas 2-4, these are reserved for the food crew. In wedge area 1, Table 1A is set aside for Open Source displays/handouts - all participating groups will have to share them. In wedge area 5, Table 5A is set aside for a possible Linux installfest site.
The D and E tables in each wedge are set aside as "not reservable", open to any guests for eating, discussion or socializing.
To reserve a table for your Open Source project or group, ask for help on
the linuxpicnic mail list,
Linux Picnic's page on Facebook or
@linuxpicnic on Twitter.
Note for volunteers helping with these requests: You'll need an
SBAY Web Account to edit the wiki. Go to the table or grill's wiki page and update its form data.
