Linux Picnic Members

If you've volunteered for at least one picnic then you qualify for voting privileges and are encouraged to sign up for them.

Any volunteer who has worked in any role at in a past Linux Picnic (2001 to current) may claim a voting membership in the Linux Picnic organization. Your membership is current if you have claimed or renewed it in the past year, documenting at least one year in which you participated.

How participants may claim a voting membership

We set up a method for people who have volunteered at a previous picnic to say which picnics they participated in and state their interest in being a voting member of the Linux Picnic. Such statements or electronics sign-ups (when that's arranged) will be good for a year and are renewable by doing the same process again.

An e-mail address has been set up for this purpose. Ask about it on the linuxpicnic mail list. We're not posting the address on the web site where spammers can get it.

For practical reasons, anyone whom we know has participated in the Linux Picnic before and who casts a vote in any poll is considered to have expressed interest and qualified for voting membership for the following year.
